Playtime with Layla

During vacation, our friend Jess came over with her 10-month old, Layla. Layla was quite intent on just watching this strange baby walk all over the place and make lots of noises. She, herself, is a petite, quiet, little lady (although at one point, she did touch his butt!). Connor wasn't so happy about sharing when a ball rolled over to Layla and she picked it up. He walked right over to her to take it away (400 other balls around the house, but he HAD to have that one). He eventually needed a little "time out" because he was throwing a bit of a fit after not getting the ball. I know, just a glimpse of things to come when he's 2, right? Anyway, here are some pics of their playdate.

Happy New Year!

Due to the snow storm that moved in to Southeastern Mass on Wednesday, our New Year's Eve plans to have Thai food with Meg and Dave were postponed, so it was just Mommy, Daddy, Connor and Bailey hanging out and watching a movie. Connor didn't last very long, and was in bed before the clock even struck 8:30, but he still had a good time playing in Daddy's "man cave". He even got to watch a little Miss Spider on the big screen. Here are just a few shots we took of him in his new PJs!
