So sorry...

Ok, Ok, I know I've been a major slacker about Connor's site in the past few weeks. Well, ok...month. I've been taking a lot more pictures with my cell phone, and they just don't seem to make it on the computer as fast as they would if they were on my camera. So below are a few pics from the past week.

Connor has been a busy bee in the past month. He's officially walking EVERYWHERE. He is all over the house, and his favorite thing to do is read. Well, not technically reading, but he's usually carrying a book wherever he goes, and he will sit on the floor and just turn page after page. It's great! I can't wait until HE can tell ME the story! He also had his 15 month appointment. He's very healthy, but I'm a little concerned he doesn't really say much besides "Dada". It's known as an expansive speech delay, and the doctor says she sees this 95% of the time in boys (sorry, guys). We're going to have Early Intervention come down and give us some things to do with him (besides talk all the time), so that will be helpful. He does do some signs, so I'm happy about that. I know when he's "all done" dinner, so he doesn't need to get mad and throw his food on the floor. We're still working on the "help" sign, as he still gets frustrated if he can't get a book or toy out of the basket. It's so cute to watch him sign, so I'm glad I stuck with it; especially since he isn't talking yet. I know I will regret saying that when he's a teenager and all he can say is "shut up".

Also, on his 16 month birthday, he FINALLY cut his top tooth! We have been waiting since August for this tooth to poke through. Our friend, Dave, was babysitting Connor while his wife and I went out for dinner. Dave noted that Connor wasn't as "easy" as he was the last time we left him with him. Sure enough, the next morning, there was the tooth! Dave must be a tooth good luck charm or something!

I think those are all of the updates. I promise to be better about the blog!

I thought this could be an Ad for Longaberger. His pacifiers are kept in this basket, and he's recently figured that out. He carry's it all over the house.

This was from today on the way home from daycare. I looked back and saw his hat like this. I about peed my pants!

Connor had just woken up from a nap and had a tiny case of bedhead. He looks like the heat miser in this one!

A little blurry, but I love how his hair looks in this. So funny!

Reading at his 15 month checkup. A guy's gotta entertain himself somehow while waiting for the doctor!

Finished! What a good story!

Thanks for updating the blog! I love the 'heat miser' pic- too cute! I'm sure he will be talking soon- EI is great and they are really helpful. You probably won't ever get him to stop once he gets going!
